Cameron: Wow

MAN that kid can eat. For Erin's b-day party, he ate at least two dinners. He had the whole crowd going on how much he can eat. It's just amazing to watch - he really does eat more than Ian.

He also is in such a fantastic phase right now - I've run out of video tape he's doing so many things! In practically just last weekend he:
  • Learned to walk around the front of the couch (holding on)
  • Wave 'bye-bye'
  • Clap his hands
  • Say "hi" - very clearly
  • Confirm his ability to say "da-da" so clearly
He's just such a cute little bundle of joy - what a great kid!

Ian Turning the Corner

Ian has just been so wonderful lately - I can't describe how much more enjoyable he is to be with than he was in March and April. (boy were those rough months). I swear he was in time-out every day for at least 30 days running, and then all of the sudden .... Ian's back again! He's excited to go places, plays on his own, is happy, funny and smart as ever. What a great experience. :-)

As for Cam - Someone taught Cameron how to walk while holding his hands (me) and now that's all he wants to do. I can't blame him though - walking is more fun than crawling. It's really neat to see those skills develop - for a lifetime!

Ian - the man

I'd have to agree with Erin. I don't know what's happened lately, but Ian has just been wonderful this week. Boy, he went through a rough stage in March and April, but this last week has been great - he's been so fun to be around!

My second blog!!!

Just practicing!! I am now signed in as me!!!! We had a good day today. Nothing too exciting--but both boys took a 2 hour nap, and I didn't--which meant that I had 2 hours to myself. Pretty amazing.

My first blog entry!!!

Hi all--This is Erin and this is my first blog posting ever!!!! I would like to give a special "thank you" to Rob Liesland who may actually be the only person who reads this blog regularly. I just looked at the new photos of the family and I can't believe how much Elliot has changed. We really need to see your family soon.

I will continue to give updates--but not much to say today. The boys are great and keeping me busy. Ian has had a good few days and has been really enjoyable to be around. Cameron is only content when he is standing, which is great except he doesn't pull himself up and requires standby attention when standing. He would be so happy if he could walk.

More soon.

The Circus

Ian and I went to the circus today - Ian's first. It was sort of strange going to something like that as an adult. As expected, Ian sat on my lap the whole time mesmerized by all of the sensory overload and talked about it the whole time afterwards and at home. They shot a guy out of a cannon across the entire arena. It was crazy to see.

Oh yea, and new Reagen.com (again). :-)
