Oh, one more thing

This sums up Cameron right here: if I take the pacifier out of his mouth and put it in my mouth, he'll calmly reach over - take it out of my mouth and put it back in his. But very quickly, he'll try to give it back to me. It's hilarious. This morning I took the last drink out of a plastic water bottle then gave it to him - he grabbed it and kept trying to give me another drink. He's a giver and he's not even one.

As for Ian, when we told him about having another baby in the family - Ian said: "we'll need another Mommy too!".

Cameron Update

Cam is just such a cute little bundle of joy - besides being somewhat sick for the past two months, he's been just fantastic. He's babbling - "da-da-da-da-da", smiling at everyone and as always - just happy to be standing.

He's army crawling around when he wants to - but mostly wants somebody to help him stand.

Oh, and he eats like a horse. Man that kid can chow down.

He's in the 95% for height too.

Last night he just looked at me, smiled and squealed with joy as his legs and arms moved all over. Reminds me why it's good to be a Dad. . .

...and they were five

It's amazing, wonderful, overwhelming and a whole rush of emotions all over again. Yes, Erin's pregnant. That's a starting basketball team for cryin' out loud.

We're freaking out.

Ian: The Numbers Guy & Return From Crazyland

On Monday, Ian asked Erin to call a friend to have her come over to play. Erin said - you can call her and ask - so Ian picked up the phone, Erin told him what numbers to push and he got them all right. Every one. He even had a normal phone conversation to ask if Ella could play.

He's also returned from his visit to crazyland. We thought we'd lost him for a little bit. The physical violence has subsided. Our child may be back. It's awesome.

We went bowling last night and it's easily the most excited I've ever seen him. He was jumping around, pumping his fists in the air with joy. It's one of the best moments I've had as a father. We had a great time bowling and I got to go bowling with my son. Good stuff.

It's Been A While

So, my excuse is that pretty much the whole family has been sick at some point over the past two months. Cam has had the worst time as he's been sick almost 8 weeks. But typical Cam - he's rolling with it very well.

Ian has just recently overcome his visit to crazy-ville. We had a rough couple of weeks there and I wasn't sure if I was going to make it. . .

Cam is cute as ever - babbling and just happy to have people love him - and for the occasional opportunity to stand. Ian, as usual, is just looking for anyone to play with him and spend time with him. The parents, as usual, are just looking to go to sleep . . .

All for now . . .
